Coiling Block(drawing capstan)
The motor is synchronized with the wire drawing machine, by means of the final dancer arm. On the
tending side is installed a protection door is to be opened for wire threading as well as for adjustingt the
straightening device and drawing die holder.
The coiling block runs loosely on ball bearings on the coiling shaft. The coiling block is made of high-grade
cast iron with reinforced wear-resistant surfaces in the wire folding area.The wire guide arm bolted to the
coiling block is supported by the carrier.
Lowering device
In order to achive a better laying on the carrier, the coiler is equipped with a combined pattern laying and
lowering device. A rotary ring with a guide finger puts down the wire windings onto the carrier in pattern
form.
The lowering device is limiting the falling height of the windings. If the carrier is empty the collecting fingers
are in the upper position, just in front of the carrier end. If the carrier is absolutely full, the collecting fingers
lower automatically and give the carrier slightly free for further collection.
Winding Arm
The winding capstan is asolid welded structure which is rigidly connected to the coiling shaft by means of
a feather key. The bearing is supported in a cast-iron flange which is screwed down to the machine
body.The wire deflection rolls, the die holder and a straightener are installed on the winding capstan in
order to obtain a faultless wire quality.
